We are in need of funding to help fix a Veteran’s Home!

He is a Gulf War Veteran in danger of losing his home due to the need of a new roof and other renovations!

We will fix his home in March!

Jim Bloodworth is a United States Army Veteran having served from 1976 until 1992. Jim is a Gulf War Veteran and is currently living in Dunedin. He served in the 56th Brigade Field Artillery in Schwabisch Gemund, Germany where he was a security guard for Pershing Missiles. His combat unit was the 197th Infantry Brigade Mechanized Unit where he was an Assistant Platoon Sergeant for the Command Staff from 1989 to 1991.

Jim suffered from a traumatic brain injury and now has epileptic seizures and is no longer employable. The roof
and foundation of his house is in desperate need of repair and currently presents a major health risk.

United Veterans Assistance Services, Inc. (UVETS) is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country. It is our duty and our honor to assist Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising money through donations and professional services to coordinate the process of renovating and restoring homes for these Veterans.

The services provided by United Veterans Assistance Services
are given at NO COST to the Veterans we serve.

UVETS, in partnership with preferred vendors, Contractors, such as Capture Construction, LLC our Prime General Contractor, and community based organizations, is prepared to provide targeted housing solutions to Veterans of all wars through our Restoration & Renovation Program (R&R®). Our vendors, contractors and administrative services are paid for through the operational fund of UVETS. Your donation pays to provide these services to the Veterans at no cost to them.

United Veterans Assistance Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans of all wars with difficult housing solutions. Our new program is called the Restoration and Renovation (R&R®) Program. This will include but is not limited to; restoration and renovation of an existing structure, interior remodeling and remodeling to accommodate disabilities and exterior work to make sure that these homes are sustainable.
